Going back to the slim-fit, if you're used to a regular cut we recommend going up one or two sizes. (Check out the size chart below to find your best fit.)
Dinner jackets can be worn as formally as a tuxedo, but they don't include dress pants. Instead, add a pair of black trousers for weddings and Prom. This jacket can also be worn with dark denim for more casual occasions, like a date night or micro wedding.
As far as etiquette goes, add a black bow tie and white pocket square for formal wear. A black skinny tie (or no tie) can be substituted for more casual wear.
