Go back to school in this boys' black and gold breakaway tie. You can't go wrong with this pattern. It's classic and designed to match your school colors. While this tie is sized for elementary and middle school boys, there are matching neckties, bow ties and crossover ties for older students.
This is a pre-tied necktie. It gets the name "breakaway" because of the plastic clip that secures the tie around the knot. For safety reasons, if this tie is yanked hard enough it will detach. (With normal, everyday use the tie stays securely in place.) Two sizes are available: A 14-inch or 16-inch length. (See specifics on sizing below.) The tie is made from durable and heavyweight polyester in a matte school uniform finish.
Sizing
The length of our boys' pre-tied ties refers to the length from the top of the tie knot down to the very tip of the tie. Use the sizes below based on age as a guide only. For best fit, we recommend measuring the child from the top of the collar to the belt line, which is about where the tip of a tie should hit. Select the length of tie that is closest to your measurement.
