We told you this is a slim tie, and that means it measures 2.5-inches wide. (That's about 0.75-inches skinnier than a regular tie today.) The average length suits most men. We made the tie from a heavier-weight polyester that's durable and slightly ribbed. As far as the sheen, it's neither too shiny or too matte.
