This bow tie features a band collar that adjusts for babies, toddlers and older boys up to about 10-years old. (At around age 10, many kids can start wearing men's bow ties.) The material is durable in polyester with slight ribbing. We added a slight sheen to the finish, so it's neither too shiny or too matte.
