Get your students ready for back to school with this burgundy and gray plaid breakaway tie. The classic pattern is designed to match your school colors. While these ties will fit most elementary and middle school children, you can mix tie styles with our matching neckties, bow ties and crossover ties.
This is a pre-tied tie in a breakaway style. It's easy to wear. The neck band features a small clasp that comes undone to go around the neck. Simply clip it shut to close. The tie gets the name breakaway because if it's tugged hard enough, the collar will "break away" from around the neck. This tie is made from thick polyester for durability and features a matte uniform finish.
Sizing
The length of our boys' pre-tied ties refers to the length from the top of the tie knot down to the very tip of the tie. Use the sizes below based on age as a guide only. For best fit, we recommend measuring the child from the top of the collar to the belt line, which is about where the tip of a tie should hit. Select the length of tie that is closest to your measurement.
