This boys' tie is the real deal. It's a self-tie style, so he must tie it himself. The sizing is a regular length and width and he'll look like a mini grownup wearing it. As far as material, we made the tie in thick polyester for durability. The finish is matte just like a uniform tie.
Sizing
When tied, the tip of a necktie should hit at about the belt line. Typically, this length of tie will fit most children ages 8 to 13-years old. Since kids vary in size, you might want to do a quick measurement to ensure this tie is the best fit. Measure the child from the collar to the belt line. The length measured should be roughly between 14.5 and 17-inches long. Need a different size? For shorter lengths, try a pre-tied boys' tie. For larger lengths, consider a men's tie.
